Chattanooga Wedding Venues Miss Daisy Loves

Our Favorite Chattanooga Wedding Venues

After years of bringing Miss Daisy to weddings all over the Chattanooga area, we've gotten to know a lot of local venues — and a few have become real favorites. Here are five we love, and why we think they're worth a look if you're planning your big day.

Ramble Creek Weddings & Events

Chattanooga Wedding with SunKissed Photo Bus at Ramble Creek Weddings & Events

Ramble Creek Weddings & Events is a favorite of ours for couples who want a simpler planning process. They offer all-inclusive options, which takes a lot of the stress off couples trying to coordinate a dozen vendors on their own. We also always look forward to weddings there for a more personal reason — their cakes and catered food are some of the best around. From a photo bus standpoint, it's a great setup too — we're able to park Miss Daisy right next to the front door, making her easy for guests to access during cocktail hour and giving everyone plenty of time for photo ops.

Howe Farms

Howe Farms stands out because of how many different venue options they have on one property, each with its own unique feel. Their Tennessee estate is actually home to seven distinct event venues spread across two neighboring properties, Howe Farms and Five Gables, so no two couples' days ever quite look the same. If you're chasing that perfect Tennessee sunset, The Pavilion is hard to beat — and we're able to park Miss Daisy right on the side of the patio there, so guests can wander over between dances for a photo with the golden hour light behind them.

Oakleaf Cottage

For couples dreaming of a forest wedding, Oakleaf Cottage delivers exactly that. Tucked away on 32 private acres in the Appalachian foothills, the venue is a certified sustainable venue through green|spaces Chattanooga, and it shows in every detail, from the curated vintage glassware to the century-old oak tree many couples say their vows beneath. Yes, we get the question a lot — and yes, Miss Daisy can make it up their steep driveway. The owners are some of the loveliest people we've worked with, and we're able to park just outside the reception hall so she's right there for guests all evening. As you see in the photo above, Miss Daisy has a rain plan in case there is more precipitation on your wedding day than expected.

Gardens in the Gorge

Gardens in the Gorge is one of the most scenic venues on this list, with a wonderful garden area for the ceremony and sweeping views of the river and mountains for the reception. The reception hall, Windsor Hall, is a striking 6,000 square foot Tudor-style manor house with windows on nearly every wall, so the gorge views follow you indoors too. The ceremony green sits right along the edge of Prentice Cooper State Forest, giving couples a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop. We park Miss Daisy right outside the main doors of the reception hall, so she's easy to spot and easy to visit throughout the night.

Hidden Springs Venue

Hidden Springs Venue is a great option for couples wanting to keep everyone together for the whole weekend, since they offer several on-site accommodation options. The property itself has a laid-back luxury feel, with cozy cabins and a sparkling lake tucked into the East Tennessee forest, making it an easy place for guests to slow down and settle in for the whole celebration. Miss Daisy sets up right on their patio, making her a natural gathering spot for guests moving between the reception and cocktail hour.

Yay! It's our first wedding with Miss Daisy! Just like the Pink Bride Show, we were nervous and excited. We had everything loaded in the bus and ready to go. I drove the bus and Kaley followed behind in our truck since were also photographing and filming the wedding. We were chugging along in the right lane on I-75 getting passed by nearly every car because we are slow. Remember when we mentioned that we had little knowledge of VW buses? Well we didn't realize how easily they can overheat and it was about 95 degrees this sunny August day. I get a call from Kaley saying "Pull Over! You are smoking!". I quickly took the next exit and pulled into the nearest gas station. Now what? How are we going to get to this wedding? We also have to photograph and film it. We called our most wonderful friend Julia and she came to the rescue. Julia immediately came to the gas station and we called a tow truck. They would be there in about 20 mins and Julia waited to give them the keys while Kaley and I took the truck and went to the wedding venue with our camera gear. We were stressed but had to keep going. We made it to the wedding in plenty of time to begin photographing/filming. The Tow truck arrived and dropped off poor Miss Daisy hours before the ceremony and guests arrived. We were very thankful not to cause a disruption to the bride and groom's wedding day. I got Miss Daisy in place where she would be in operation during the reception. Stress started to subside and we focused on documenting the couple's gorgeous wedding. Later our booth attendant arrived and made sure the kiosk and props were ready to go. Everything was working just fine and Miss Daisy fulfilled her duty as a super fun photo booth. Guests hopped in and out of the bus all night for their photos and had the best time. It wasn't the experience I had hoped for as our first wedding but we made it.
Debut of the SunKissed Photo Bus at The Chattanooga Pink Bride Show 2018

This was such a nerve wrecking day! This was the day we showed the world what we had worked so hard the last 6 months to create. Would it be a bust or success? We were so stressed but we had to keep going. Luckily Miss Daisy ran well and made it inside the Chattanooga Convention Center for the show.
